Juan Luna, Flipino Patriot, an Ilocano Son

Civic Holiday in Ontario. I could not pass this day to pay homage to a great Filipino Patriot Juan Luna.  This was our next stop on our travel to Ilocos Norte.  Juan Luna's shrine is located in Badoc, Ilocos Norte.  This house was reconstructed as the original house where he grew up in, burned down in 1861.

This serves as a shrine and houses an art gallery showing paintings of Juan Luna. I took a lot of pictures of his work, but only two are near perfect for posting.
