March-April celebrants - Glo Valeros, Estela del Val, GLo Mañalac-Datud and Cef Cawaon hosted a despedida lunch for Glory Salvador @ Baguio Palace Hotel along Legarda Road on June 1st.

Belated Greetings for a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Glo Valeros, Estela del Val (April), Glo Mañalac Datud and Cef Cawaon (March).  Glo V was in Toronto celebrating her birthday on April 22 with her Toronto family. Estela in Baguio celebrating with her family on April 23, Glo Datud vacationing from Maryland was in Baguio celebrating with family March 31. A New York birthday celebration March 5 for Cef Cawaon with his children.

Glory Salvador returning to Arkansas June 4th.  May this be a beginning of a yearly "balik-bayan" for you and hope you had a wonderful time during your 2013 Philippine travel.

Despedida for an Arizona Friend

However late our posting... it is still nice to know that we, as a group (class '62) have also catered a despedida for one of our "Honorary" Class members in Roger Estepa.  Roger was feted to a going away lunch @ The City Lights Hotel along General Luna Road on May 14, 2013.  He flew back May 18 to Arizona after a long well deserved vacation.

Who Needs a School Bus - Philippines

Me??? my memories of my "bakya" floating, as I follow the rain water flowing down Abanao Street ( I don't remember carrying books and notebooks... just my "bakya") ... isn't that funny??
