We join Ahmee in thanking Rod and Percy for representing Class '62 at the funeral service for Angelica's beloved Sobhi.  We were looking forward to meeting him in person one fine day, but some things are beyond our fondest hopes and dreams.  We offer Angelica and her sons our deepest condolences and prayers.

JUST WANT TO PASS ON SAD NEWS TO ALL....

Percy and I attended a memorial service today for  Sobhi Michail, Angel's husband who passed away Wednesday, March 26 2014. 

Do not have too much details to relate here 'cuz we didn't have the chance to sit down with Angel and talk while we were in church. Took the liberty of passing this message to all, as Angel, I'm sure is quite busy and pretty occupied taking care of things.  Hope she doesn't mind.

TO EVERYONE: LET'S ALL JOIN IN PRAYERS AND SHARE IN DEEP SYMPATHY AND SORROW OVER ANGEL'S LOSS OF HER LOVED ONE.

A Welcome Celebration

A happy celebration of friends in Baguio

Combined welcome and a birthday celebration at The Kambingan, Baguio drew these friends together complete with  kambing pinapaitan, Lechon kawali and a bagoong sausawan.  What can I say?  We should all plan to get together soon in Baguio... maka-pa-iliw!  I do not know about everyone else.. but kambing pinapaitan... you make me dream like there is no tomorrow!

Some of us are on FaceBook, some choose not to be, some of us do not care & many of us want to just view Class62 blog.

Zeno Pimentel, class '63 shared a picture from a decade ago taken at the Baguio City High School International Alumni Association 2003 Triennial gathering in Washington, DC. All pictured are from Class'63,  Angelica and I decided to squeeze in or rather we were invited to join in.  Does it look like our arms were twisted to join the group of 63'ers.... kapilitan ahhh, the class62 smile lightens up the group picture... LOL !

The next triennial gathering will be held in San Francisco August, 2014.  If you plan to attend and need more information, please let me know, so I can repost the Registration form and Hotel accommodation details for the event.

A timely welcome to Spring 2014

52 years ago this March, three lovely looking friends said " HURRAH" to the endless lakuatsa and party going teenage years.  While they worry what happens next, they still manage to wear even HALF a smile on Graduation day, 1962!

We're still here to welcome another spring!  Hope to have many more!

To all of you Class62... Have you started to look into your old "bauls" and discover your lovely smiles? Share them... it is nice to have a good laugh!
