Six Degrees of Separation

A firm advocate of the 6 Degrees of Separation theory, I have once again made the connecting dots to 6 "unsuspecting" people and more.

I have a nephew, Yvan , who is married to Ruth, who has a high school friend Anne Michelle, whose mother is Mila Barril Quitania, who is the "little" sister of Angelica Bangaoet Michail.

Did I count 6 people yet?   AURORA - Yvan - Ruth - Anne Michelle - Mila - ANGELICA

Ruth and Yvan drove all the way from London, Ontario yesterday, September 1st, to meet Anne Michelle and her family from New Jersey, whose son is participating in a Basketball tournament in Newmarket, Ontario.  Mila and husband Jimmy from California, visiting daughter Michelle in NJ, were accompanying them during this trip to Toronto.  Ruth & Michelle were classmates in high school, BCHS Class '94.  Mother Mila Barril is Class'64.  The Angelica connection came about through a high school project "Big Sister Little Sister" during our senior year 1961-62.

Some of you will surely remember Mila Barril.  She is a good neighbor of Abit Florendo-Natividad in Aurora Hill.  A small world, indeed !

Sure I know Mila Barril-Quitania. Her Mom is a retired teacher at the Dona Aurora Elem. School, my elementary Alma Mater. I wonder if her Mom is still around.

Read your degrees of separation with interest….. I spoke with Mila Barril a few years ago and at that time, she was living in San Diego…. haven't had the chance to reconnect after that…..   Angel
