Ladies (only) Lunch!

Talaga met ahhh!!!!  Still going strong ladies!, even after drinking "all" the wine and getting plastered by it, The Baguio 62 ladies made another go at it... nga kuna da !!!  Another Celebration of course! This time, we want to be served !!! Anything! Anywhere! ...pampering ourselves is a "must" ! Cleaning up after is not good for the Class62 souls !

Belated RAH RAH RAH Celebration

To add to the high spirits of the Baguio group, Ping Estepa was toasted with a month long belated rah rah rah for her 67th year or was it a standing 65th still?

We really had many grand and enjoyable get-togethers from August- to now. The late Mars' first death anniversary , Manny Flores' Birthday, Belated birthday ko sa house ni Glo Datud Sept 3, that's where GloV handed me your letter and the Francia Red wine. Ket naibus me ah'.     PING ESTEPA

Baguio Party Animals

Baguio Class62 wanting to party non stop picks a reason for celebration.  A despedida get together for Gloria Mañalac Datud was hinted and "all" the rah rah rah !!! resulted in Glo Datud hosting @ her home in Ledesma, Aurora Hill to show off her cooking prowess.   Glo Datud and husband Bonnie are slated to return to the US on September 17th, after their 6 months stay in The Philippines.

September Celebration

Baguio - Class62 celebrated Manny Flores' birthday September 1st @ his residence in Happy Homes.  Manny travelled all night from his Naguilian farm to attend his celebration with friends of '62.

Remembering Marcial Esquejo

"Remembering Marcial" was celebrated with a get together hosted by Yollie Esquejo in August.  This was attended by the Baguio group, representing Class62.

Six Degrees of Separation

A firm advocate of the 6 Degrees of Separation theory, I have once again made the connecting dots to 6 "unsuspecting" people and more.

I have a nephew, Yvan , who is married to Ruth, who has a high school friend Anne Michelle, whose mother is Mila Barril Quitania, who is the "little" sister of Angelica Bangaoet Michail.

Did I count 6 people yet?   AURORA - Yvan - Ruth - Anne Michelle - Mila - ANGELICA

Ruth and Yvan drove all the way from London, Ontario yesterday, September 1st, to meet Anne Michelle and her family from New Jersey, whose son is participating in a Basketball tournament in Newmarket, Ontario.  Mila and husband Jimmy from California, visiting daughter Michelle in NJ, were accompanying them during this trip to Toronto.  Ruth & Michelle were classmates in high school, BCHS Class '94.  Mother Mila Barril is Class'64.  The Angelica connection came about through a high school project "Big Sister Little Sister" during our senior year 1961-62.

Some of you will surely remember Mila Barril.  She is a good neighbor of Abit Florendo-Natividad in Aurora Hill.  A small world, indeed !

Sure I know Mila Barril-Quitania. Her Mom is a retired teacher at the Dona Aurora Elem. School, my elementary Alma Mater. I wonder if her Mom is still around.

Read your degrees of separation with interest….. I spoke with Mila Barril a few years ago and at that time, she was living in San Diego…. haven't had the chance to reconnect after that…..   Angel
