Yes, I can’t find time to write to friends and relatives due to our closing of our surveying company. We also had to brace ourselves for the super typhoons. We do prepare for the coming of super typhoons & we thank God, the typhoons changed their course. So, we were spared. Another typhoon missed us yesterday & headed to the Philippines. We prepared for Ketsana which was typhoon Ondoy in the Phils. and typhoon Melor, named Pepeng in The Phils. We use our time with burdensome work, before, during & after the typhoons. Thank God, for aluminum accordion shutters for our windows and wide tempered glass doors. BTW, most of our houses here in the Marianas (Saipan, Guam, Rota, Tinian) are fully concrete… even our house roof is cement.

Power just turned off. We right now have power outage. Awan iti silaw mi. Ka ed-ed-dep na. Siguro island wide power outage. Ooooppppss. The power came back.

Since Tass had the by-pass, I took many of his responsibilities. Tass is okey right now but there are things that I don’t let him do. It is a sigh of relief we closed our surveying business to lessen the stress. Lately, I had to do proposal, managing of the business, accounting, secretarial work plus household activities. It’s a good thing I now have a once a week house helper.

Pasensya kayo laengen if I lag behind with my correspondence. Too much work. But to tell you naaaliw ako sa e-mail ninyo. Nagugutom ako sa picture ng mga food na pinapadala mo. Ang sasarap. Kumukulo pa. Thank you for being patient. Just remember, there are only two of us on the island doing all work. O sige. Getting late.
