How sad, but how inevitable, that our Class 62 is losing members as the years go on.

I am, indeed, very sad to hear of a good friend's passing. Kiko was a constant companion of mine back in grade school. He was funny and had always a positive attitude despite of his handicap. He was a very honest and trustworthy friend. He will surely be missed in 2012///Gali

Here are four items for Puzzle 5
Let's change the rules a bit, since we haven't had a Puzzle contest in many weeks. This time there will be three winners. The person who submits the most number of correct answers first gets $15, the second person gets $10, and the third person gets $5. All prizes will be donated to our Class '62 Pot.

All answers are to be submitted to: benbagiw@yahoo.com. The deadline is: 12 am, Eastern Standard Time; 11 am Philippine time) of Friday, March 12.

A. There are six eggs in a basket. Six persons take one egg each. How can it be that one egg is left in the basket?

B. Acting on an anonymous phone call, the police raid a house to arrest a suspected murderer. They don't know what he looks like, but they know his name is Pedro. Inside they find a carpenter, a taxi driver, a car mechanic, and a fireman playing cards. Without even asking his name, they immediately arrest the fireman. How do they know they've got their man?

C. There are six glasses in a straight row, each equidistant from its neighbor. The first three glasses are filled with orange juice while the other three are empty. By moving only one glass, how can you make the full and the empty glasses alternate?

D. What is the forty-five (45) letter word which means "a lung disease caused by inhaling very fine siliceous dust" and of which "black lung disease" is an example?
