A year ago September, our classmate and friend
JESSE ANTONIO RIO passed away. Many of us will remember the twinkle in his eyes when he smiles and wins the track and field events during Intramural meets. To Jesse, who we were counting on to join us in 2012, we know you will be celebrating with us, the 50 golden years since we saw your last winning race to the finish.

A young Jesse as most of us will remember |

- Remembering Jesse Rio- Jesse Rio was my neighbor back in P.I., along with Aida Prado, Mars Edralin and Tony Siapno.
I remember back in the 70's when I first arrived here in the U.S., I was surprised to receive a postcard greeting from him. It was very nice of him to have done that since It did alleviate my homesickness then.
I was hoping to see him again during the upcoming Reunion, but was saddened to hear of his passing away.
May his soul rest in peace and condolences to his family.

Thank you for posting this about Jessie, I.m sure he would have liked to have attended the reunion. But I guess God had other plans for him. Ella
