It was a clear cold Saturday morning in January of ’62 when members of the graduating class were all converged in separate classrooms, at the Quezon Elementary School right across the old BAL/PNR station near the Military Circle. We were guinea pigs in an experimental test–a DepEd mandated aptitude examination a la SAT. I believe it was the 1st and last of such test. Did you, Bembo & Justino get the highest scores? I still have a good memory about that event, because after that, some candidates including myself became the subject of Mr. Greg Ariz's in camera inquiry, details of which I prefer not to elaborate further at this time. Remembering High School "In-Justice"

.. there are only 3 things I remembered from High School Senior Year..
1. When the whole class (or rather I think it was everyone in Senior year), decided to boycott Miss Dumpit's class, went to the movies and got reprimanded the following day.
2. Bembo challenging Mr Balaoro (Physics Teacher) to a fist fight.
3. Gali kicked the bucket of water in front of the washroom area, in defiance of a student court Judicial ruling about his actions.
Response:
No, it was not about me kicking the bucket of water in front of the CR (thank God, I am still alive) in open defiance of Judge Ahmee’s ruling punishing me for having been found guilty of the offense, “Smoking in Public.” I remember Bembo was the prosecutor, Priscilla Q was the star witness and poor Gali was not represented, because the entire class of ’62 was against him. Thus, the Hon. Judge of the Student Court had ordered me to clean the boys’ toilet (thanks Ahmee). I can still remember Mr. Flora, the Student Court Adviser, so traumatized by my behavior that he repeatedly exclaimed, “….. you appeal my boy, you appeal my boy.” **Atty. Gali Munar

This project, which we can call "Puzzle-Pot Project" entails a puzzle to be posted on our website every two or three weeks. The Sept. 29 meeting was attended by at least 10 with Danny, coming in towards the end. Following were elected without opposition: President - Mars Esquejo; VP - Ceferino Cawaon; Treasurer - Erlinda Sobrino-Alvaro; Secretary - Estela Espejo-Del Val; Program Comm. Chair- Filipina Estepa; Ways & Means Comm. Chair - Patrocinio Ducusin-Rilveria; Logistics Comm. Chair - Bong de Guzman.
Plans concerning Baguio, relative to the reunion activities and concerns, regarding the arrival of batchmates from abroad, were taken up. Proposals to come up with a Class 62 souvenir program and souvenir items, a sort of a uniform were discussed. Detailed minutes to follow. A year after graduating from Baguio Colleges Foundation, I was recruited to the United States Navy, July 1967. I got married in 1969 to my high school sweetheart, Nollie Avila, also from Baguio. We are blessed with 2 beautiful children, Eric &Liza and 4 grandchildren. Retired in 1988, after 22 years in the service, I am presently working with the US Postal Service. I am hoping to retire by the end of next year. Becky Nisperos-Feria, Aida Prado-Singson, Jessie Rio and Tony Siapno were all my neighbors in Baguio.
