Overheard Arne extending an invitation to the Judge and his wife Frieda during Gala Night@ the Golden Jubilee.  It has materialized. Golfing, the priority. Shopping for the ladies.  More Las Vegas style fun nights away from "all" the stresses of work, Philippine side. All these happened early September 2012

During the Middle Years

Manny Natividad's cleaning prowess garnered him undiscovered archive of some years ago.  Abit claims a senior moment, she couldn't peg the dates.  It must have been one of the many early homeland visits of Angelica in the '80s, as everyone seems so young, vibrant, beautiful and ruggedly handsome people.

Here, we discover a rare emergence of the "invisible" Xerxes in his younger years.

Ping's collection includes a few grade school photos.  We laughed at the pictures she retrieved and forced out of her permanent album.

Teacher in Charge is Miss Bautista, a relative of the founder and first President of The University of Baguio, Mr Fernando Bautista Sr.  Class62 seems to always graze important scenes@ Baguio Central School.  Priscilla Quijana (3rd from Left), Wilda Dulnoan. Funny that Ping numbered them and had names attached to these numbers at the back of the picture.  However, I told her, I remember most of their names. Simplified identification are those of BCHS Class62

When we were Young (er)

Suddenly, I remembered that Ping Estepa was showing me old pictures in Baguio.  I knew I emailed the copies to myself but can not find where I stored the email.  Today, as I look out from my working station to the bright blue cool sunshiney day, it gave me reason to scan the many emails I have been saving for those empty days when no one sends me email (LOL). Sharing Pictures of Ping when she was younger & prettier.

Class'62 letter from Ahmee

Dear Classmates – Golden Reunion Attendants of BCHS Class 1962

As the song goes… “the party’s over”…or, like a common cliché…”now that the dust has settled”…we all reflect on those very few days shared last May, 2012.

We had fun, exchanged warm hugs, did a lot of teasing and continued to remind each other re “quirks” and nuances while teens in our high school years at dear olde Baguio City High. Some had vivid memories while others chose to forget.

Thank you to all who made every extra effort (time, energy, monies and affection) to attend and stay for the whole occasion. Thank you to the lovely partners or spouses that supported our communal desire to want to be together after all those years. Each of us travelled a journey (Un cammino) of 50 years after our graduation in 1962. These stories we shared, it gave us reason to build deeper bonds.

In time, we may meet again or maybe never but please treasure those moments. Like Renato’s souvenir pen says, …”Keep In Touch”, or as Galicano recently wrote a comment on the blog, …”Thanks for the memories”. I am sure Aurora will, for a while, keep our class blog filled with animated/poetic edits and lovely photographs. Cherish the souvenir album you just received and go back to opening those pages often.

What’s next? As the years roll in, please contribute to the class blog with photos and stories. Let us try to meet again at the next BCHSIAA triennial reunion scheduled for August, 2014 in California, USA. Or, we can also plan a 60th (Diamond) reunion in Baguio for 2022 – December or May??? as suggested by Angelica who missed May, 2012.

To the hardy, cheerful “39” 2012 Golden Jubilarians – Dakel nga pasalamat kada kayo amin, kakabsat. Our regrets to those who did not join us but you were definitely missed. Stay healthy and young always!!!!
